Women Empowerment and Economic Program (WEEP)

Women belong in all places where decisions are being made. It shouldn't be that women are the exception

Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Since the beginning of the Movement, the issue of women's empowerment and gender sensitization has been an important aspect of JPRM, “to meet the emerging needs and interests of women”. This programme is not to be understood as an economic issue only, but also as a process towards political and socio-economic empowerment, women's self-exposure and self-determination in education and business development, from a broad perspective of peace-building.
